Rooted in community leadership and strengthened through partnerships with governments, CSR initiatives, and development agencies, we create impact across health, nutrition, livelihoods, environmental sustainability, and social justice, ensuring no one is left behind.
BITAN's impact spans 2 states, 27 districts, and 3.2 million+ people, led by 60+ multidisciplinary professionals. We work alongside the Governments of India, West Bengal & Tripura, and leading partners including SBI Foundation, ITC Ltd., GSK, LIC Housing Finance, Linde Foundation, MEMISA-DGD (Belgium), Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation, Samsung, Tech Mahindra Foundation, and UNDP.

Reproductive & Child Health
Ensuring access to quality healthcare, maternal nutrition, and child rights across underserved communities in West Bengal.
Aims to improve environmental and community health through a decentralized Solid Waste Management (SWM) system. The initiative spans 14 Gram Panchayats, three blocks, and Bansberia Municipality in Hooghly district. It supports Swachh Bharat Mission, Nirmal Bangla Abhiyan, and SDG 6, focusing on clean water and sanitation through sustainable waste management practices.
Designed to safeguard child rights through awareness, prevention, rescue, rehabilitation, and legal aid in Kolkata. Rooted in the urgent need to tackle child marriage, trafficking, sexual abuse, and child labour, this initiative bridges gaps in child protection services by working with police, schools, community leaders, child protection authorities, and families.

Aims to improve maternal and child health outcomes among urban slum communities through integrated health awareness, service linkage, and behavioural change initiatives.
