Annual accounts, project data, and beneficiary numbers are publicly available on the Niti Aayog NGO Darpan portal.
FCRA Compliance Report
Foreign contributions are reported annually to the Ministry of Home Affairs under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act.
Donor Utilisation Certificates
All institutional donors receive audited utilisation certificates and progress reports at the end of each project cycle.

We will email you an official donation receipt (Form 10BE) within 48 working hours.
Claim Deduction
Mention the donation while filing your ITR under Section 80G. You get a 50% deduction on your taxable income.
International Donors — FCRA Registered
BITAN holds FCRA registration enabling us to receive foreign contributions legally. Diaspora and overseas donors are welcome. Please contact accounts@bitanindia.org for FCRA-designated bank details before transferring.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my donation tax-exempt?
Yes. BITAN is registered under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Donors can claim a 50% deduction on the donated amount from their taxable income.
How will I receive my donation receipt?
We email an official receipt (Form 10BE) within 48 working hours of receiving your payment confirmation. Please ensure you provide your name, PAN, and contact email.
Can I donate from outside India?
Yes. BITAN holds FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) registration. Foreign donors should transfer via international bank wire directly to our FCRA-designated account. Contact us for FCRA bank details.
Can I fund a specific programme?
Absolutely. You can earmark your contribution for any of our five programme areas — Health, Youth, Waste Management, Livelihoods, or Disaster Management. Mention it in your payment note or email.
Is there a minimum donation amount?
There is no minimum. Every contribution — however small — is used directly in the field and acknowledged with a receipt.
Can my company donate under CSR?
Yes. BITAN is eligible to receive CSR funds under Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013. We provide MOU drafts, utilisation certificates, and impact reports to all corporate partners.
